Our Stone Crabs are caught fresh daily in the Florida Keys. The claws
are cooked immediately and then submerged in cold water and chilled. This process is done to prevent the meat from sticking
to the inside of the shell. They are then ready to ship out to you! Our Stone Crabs are delivered in a re-usable
Styrofoam cooler with ice packs to maintain freshness until it arrives at your door. All of our Stone Crab orders include
a set of 4 Crab/Lobster forks, a mallet and Mr. Rod's tasty mustard sauce.
How many pounds should you purchase?
Determine whether you will be serving them as appetizers or as a main course. 2½
pounds of cooked Stone crab claws yield approximately 1 pound of crab meat. Use this as a guide to determine how much
you should purchase. Keep in mind that the amount of claws per pound varies depending on the size of claw you order.
